You can bring a commissary deposit to Brooks County Detention Center in Falfurrias, Texas, or mail one to the facility. Mailing takes longer to process than bringing the money in person.

For an in-person deposit, only cash or a money order is accepted. Jail personnel process the payment into the inmate’s account.

  1. Bring your deposit to Brooks County Detention Center at 901 County Road 201, Falfurrias, TX 78355.
  2. Give the payment to jail personnel for processing.

To mail a deposit, use a money order or cashier’s check from the U.S. Post Office, a reputable bank or Western Union. A money order must be payable to the inmate, with the inmate’s ID number in the memo field.

Never mail cash. Incorrect payment preparation or recipient identification can delay crediting the inmate’s account and may require you to submit another money order.
