Attorney visits at Buchanan County Jail: post-arrest access, reservation number, and ID requirements
If your client was just arrested and is asking to speak with you, the standard visitation rules don't apply. Attorney access gets priority during that post-arrest window.
Once you request a visit after an arrest, the jail will make your client available as soon as practical. That said, security concerns or facility activity can cause brief delays - even when your access is being prioritized.
For immediate post-arrest contact, you can meet with your client in the no-contact bond room at any time. This is the option built for those first, time-sensitive conversations - no need to wait for regular professional visitation hours.
