Centralia Correctional Center requires adult visitors to bring two forms of identification. One must be a current, state-issued photo ID. Double-check that yours isn't expired before you leave home.

You'll also need to provide vehicle information as part of the visit process. Riding with someone else? Make sure you still have the vehicle details on hand, since you may be asked for them.

Expect a quick health check when you arrive. Every visitor goes through a COVID-19 symptom screening and a temperature check before entering.

Note: The facility provides a surgical mask to all visitors over the age of two.

You may be asked to briefly lower your face covering for identification purposes, both when entering and when exiting. Have your ID ready at check-in so the process goes smoothly.

Leave routine medications in your car. The only exceptions allowed inside the Visiting Room are physician-prescribed heart medication and an asthma inhaler. No other pills or medication of any type may be brought in.

  1. Bring only physician-prescribed heart medication if you need it - other pills and medications are not allowed in the Visiting Room.
  2. Keep it in a properly labeled container - the label needs to stay on the container.
  3. Expect staff to store it at the officer’s desk - prescribed heart medication is stored at the officer’s desk in the Visiting Room.
