How to schedule your first video visit at Chippewa Valley (and how Party IDs work)

Scheduling your first video visit at Chippewa Valley Correctional Treatment Facility comes down to two things: an ICSolutions account and the correct Party ID. Once you have both, you can pick a time block and book a 25-minute visit.

Video visits at CVCTF are scheduled through the ICSolutions website. Everyone who plans to participate needs to use ICSolutions. There's no separate facility sign-up sheet or phone-in option.

CVCTF uses Party IDs as part of registration and scheduling. To visit (whether by video, in-person, or phone), you need to create an ICSolutions account using the unique Party ID tied to the person in care and your approved visitor entry. Already have an account? You'll need to update it with the correct Party ID.

Note: CVCTF staff cannot help with Party ID questions, scheduling trouble, or technical issues. Contact DOCDAIElectronicVisitSupport@wisconsin.gov for support.

Before you try to schedule anything, make sure you've completed the Visitor Questionnaire (DOC-21AA) and that you're on the approved visiting list. If you're not approved yet, ICSolutions won't get you around that requirement.

  • Confirm with the PIOC the exact spelling of your name as it appears on the approved visiting list (your Party ID is tied to that entry).
  1. Go to the ICSolutions website - This is where CVCTF video visits are scheduled.
  2. Create your ICSolutions account (or sign in) - You will need your own account to be part of a visit reservation.
  3. Have the Party ID ready - CVCTF requires the unique Party ID from the PIOC to create or update your account for visits.

Your Party ID comes from the person in care, not the facility front desk. At CVCTF, the Party ID is listed next to your name on the visiting list. The person in care is responsible for sharing that unique Party ID with you so you can set up your ICSolutions account correctly.

Note: For Party ID help (questions, scheduling problems, or technical issues), contact DOCDAIElectronicVisitSupport@wisconsin.gov. CVCTF staff cannot assist with Party ID issues.

Everyone attending the visit needs their own ICSolutions account and must be listed on the reservation. If someone isn't on the reservation, they won't be considered an approved attendee for that video visit.

Video visits at CVCTF run 25 minutes, with a 5-minute gap between sessions. Be ready to connect right when your time slot starts.

CVCTF uses set daily time blocks: one schedule for Monday through Friday, another for Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays. Pick a block you can reliably make. The system is built around these published windows, not open-ended appointment times.

Cost and limits: Each PIOC is eligible for one free video visit per week. Additional video visits cost $2.50 each, up to a combined total of 24 video visits per month.

Stuck with Party ID questions, account setup, scheduling, or other technical problems? Email DOCDAIElectronicVisitSupport@wisconsin.gov. That's the support channel CVCTF directs visitors to for Party ID issues.

Reminder: CVCTF staff cannot assist with Party ID questions, scheduling of visits, or technical issues.

Day of Visit Ready

  • Make sure only the people who are scheduled for the visit appear on the video screen. No exceptions.
  • If you are going in-person for a scheduled visit, you may arrive up to 10 minutes early to allow time for entrance screening.
