What Is a Party ID and How Do You Get One for CVCTF Visits?

A Party ID is a specific code you enter on your ICSolutions visitor account. Without the correct Party ID, you can't register properly or schedule visits for the person you're trying to see. This applies to both video visits and in-person visits scheduled through the system.

CVCTF uses ICSolutions for video visit scheduling, and the system matches you to the correct person in care and their approved visitor record. Before you can schedule anything, you need to be on the DOC-approved visiting list and have completed the Visitor Questionnaire (DOC-21AA).

The Party ID doesn't come from the front desk or visiting room - it comes from the person in care (PIOC). They need to give you the unique Party ID that appears next to your name on the approved visiting list, plus the exact spelling of your name as it appears there. That name match matters because your ICSolutions account must line up with the approved record.

Note: CVCTF staff can't help with Party ID questions or provide Party IDs. Plan on getting the code directly from the PIOC.

What Is a Party ID and How Do You Get One for CVCTF Visits?
  1. Create an ICSolutions account (or sign in to your existing one) - This is the account you’ll use to schedule visits for CVCTF.
  2. Add or update your Party ID - Enter the specific Party ID on your registered account when prompted so the system can match you to the correct approved visitor entry.
  3. Match your name to the approved visiting list spelling - Use the spelling the PIOC gives you from the approved list.
  4. Schedule your visit through ICSolutions - Once your account is set up correctly, you can schedule video visits and in-person visits through the same system.

If the system won't let you move forward, double-check the basics first: you must already be approved before you can schedule video visits at CVCTF. That means completing the Visitor Questionnaire (DOC-21AA) and being on the PIOC's DOC-approved visiting list.

If your Party ID won't work, your account won't accept it, or you're hitting technical problems while scheduling, CVCTF staff can't fix it. The facility directs all Party ID and electronic-visit issues to DOCDAIElectronicVisitSupport@wisconsin.gov.

Note: One CVCTF memo describes additional video visits at $2.50 per visit with a combined limit of up to 24 video visits per month. Another DOC document describes one free video visit per week and up to 12 paid visits per month. If visit limits affect your plans, confirm the current policy by emailing DOCDAIElectronicVisitSupport@wisconsin.gov.
