Attorney visitation hours run Monday through Friday, 8:30am to 11:30am and 1:00pm to 4:30pm. Plan around that midday break. Arriving right as the schedule switches over can mean unnecessary waiting.

Need to meet outside those hours? You'll need permission, and the visit must be scheduled through the Captain of the jail. Give yourself extra lead time for these requests.

Attorney visits take place on the second floor, in the hallway visitation rooms behind Judge Johnson's courtroom. First time in the building? Remember: second floor, behind the courtroom.

Security note: Your client will be escorted in and secured to a bull ring in the wall. This is standard procedure at the facility.

  1. Enter through the Judicial Building front door: Announce your intentions to the Campus Security Deputies and tell them who you wish to visit.
  2. Follow the deputy’s direction to a visitation room: A Campus Security Deputy will escort you to one of the visitation rooms if one is not currently in use.

Heads up: If other attorneys are using the rooms, you may need to wait for one to open up.
