Before you can visit at Christian County Jail, you need to create an account on the HomeWAV website. Without it, you won't get past the first step. Setting up your account early helps you avoid last-minute headaches on the day you want to see your loved one. Once registered, you'll use HomeWAV for all visitation scheduling.

Minors: Anyone under 18 must be accompanied by an adult who has a valid HomeWAV account.

Create Account Checklist

  • Create your visitor account on the HomeWAV website (required for all visitors).
  • Save your login information so you can sign in again when it is time to schedule and attend your visit.

On-site visits at Christian County Jail must be scheduled at least 24 hours in advance. Scheduling is your responsibility. Don't expect the inmate or staff to handle it for you. Plan ahead if you're traveling or juggling work and childcare. Already inside that 24-hour window? Pick a later day and submit your request with enough lead time.

Approval required: On-site visits need approval before they're confirmed. Check HomeWAV to make sure your visit shows as approved before you head to the jail.

Christian County Jail offers on-site visits every day, Sunday through Saturday, in three time blocks: 8:00 am to 11:00 am, 1:00 pm to 4:00 pm, and 6:00 pm to 9:30 pm. Those are your windows. If you're working around school or a job, figure out which block fits best, then submit your request with the 24-hour lead time in mind.

Daily limit: Inmates can receive two on-site visits per day. Keep that cap in mind if you're trying to schedule multiple visits.

Christian County Jail requires both sides of the visit to log in with individual HomeWAV credentials. You use your own visitor login; the inmate uses theirs. Visits cannot be shared. Don't log in under someone else's account because they couldn't make it, and don't pass your login to another person. If multiple people want to visit, each one needs their own HomeWAV account.

Recorded and monitored: By using the Christian County Jail video visitation equipment, you are subject to recording and monitoring.
