Setting Up and Scheduling Video Visits at Clay County Jail (CPC account, 24-hour rule, and onsite vs remote)
Video visitation at Clay County Jail starts with getting your CPC account approved and knowing the scheduling deadlines. Here's how it works, what you'll need to upload, and how free onsite visits compare to paid remote visits.
Every video visit at Clay County Jail requires a Combined Public Communications (CPC) account. This applies whether you're visiting remotely from home or in person at the Visitation Center - both use the same CPC/InmateSales scheduling system.
You can create your CPC account two ways: at the kiosk in the jail lobby or online at InmateSales.com. If you're trying to get on the schedule quickly, set up the account first. Once your information is submitted, you can focus on finding an available time slot.
- ✓ A profile picture
- ✓ A copy of your driver’s license or state identification
All visits must be scheduled at least 24 hours in advance. Same-day visits aren't an option here. Build in that extra day so you're not scrambling if something needs adjusting in your account or you need to pick a different time.
Deadline reminder: Weekend visits and Monday visits have an earlier cutoff - you must schedule them no later than Friday at 5:00 PM.
Remote video visits run seven days a week across three time windows: 8:00 AM–11:30 AM, 1:15 PM–4:30 PM, and 6:30 PM–10:00 PM. When picking a slot, remember the 24-hour rule - don't accidentally select a time that's too soon.
Schedule remote visits through InmateSales.com, where you can also check pricing and hardware requirements. Before your first session, confirm your setup works. You don't want to spend the first few minutes troubleshooting.
Prefer visiting in person? Head to the Visitation Center at 815 N. Palmetto Avenue, Green Cove Springs, Florida - it's located behind the jail.
Onsite sessions run in two blocks: 8:15 AM–11:30 AM and 1:15 PM–4:30 PM. The center closes from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM between sessions. It's also closed Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays - so plan for weekdays if onsite is your only option.
Good news: Onsite visits at the Visitation Center are free, but you still schedule them through the same CPC/InmateSales system.
