How to Schedule a Video Visit at Cochise County Jail (Douglas & Sierra Vista)
Scheduling a video visit at Cochise County Jail comes down to choosing between the public video centers or visiting from home—and booking at least 48 hours ahead.
Cochise County has two public video visitation centers. In Douglas, you'll find the center at Cochise County Regional Center Douglas, 1012 G. Avenue, 2nd Floor, next to Justice Court Precinct 2, Douglas, AZ 85607. In Sierra Vista, it's at the Cochise County Juvenile Detention Center, 100 Colonia de Salud, Suite 201, Sierra Vista, AZ 85635.
Both centers share the same hours: Monday through Friday, 10:00 am to 2:00 pm. That's a midday window, so plan accordingly if you're working around a job schedule.
All visits must be scheduled 48 hours in advance. Book at least two full days before your preferred time - waiting until the last minute often means no slots left.
Holiday planning: Visits on a county-recognized holiday must be conducted from home, not at the public video centers. If your preferred date lands on a holiday, plan on a remote visit instead.
People in general population can have two free visits per week at the public centers. Remote visits from home are different - there's no weekly limit, which helps if you want to stay in regular contact.
You can schedule public visits online. Since these centers run on appointments, booking ahead is the only way to reserve your spot.
One heads-up: Cochise County Jail and Court Security staff won't help you schedule a visit on-site. Show up with your appointment already booked - don't expect to set things up at the counter.
