Applications can be mailed or emailed to the Colorado Private Prison Monitoring Unit (PPMU) as instructed by the facility—include a current, unexpired government photo ID that matches your address. Approval typically takes about 45 days. Once approved, you're subject to annual background checks, and visiting status can be deactivated after one year without visits. At check-in, you'll complete AR Form 300‑01B (Consent to Search). For medium custody, the back of your right hand gets stamped with an ultraviolet marker. Dress conservatively—no shorts or cargo pants, and skirts or dresses must fall at or below the knee. Portable electronic communication devices are contraband. Violations can lead to seizure and possible involvement of OIG or local law enforcement.

Crowley Correctional Facility uses video visitation through Securus. You'll need to be approved on the inmate's visiting list before scheduling anything online. During the session, both you and the offender must be visually identifiable—faces can't be covered or obscured.
