Setting Up Video Visits with Someone at Danville Correctional Center (ICSolutions Guide)

IDOC facilities (except ATCs) now use ICSolutions for video visitation instead of GTL. If you want video visits with someone at Danville Correctional Center, you'll need to register with ICSolutions and use that system to schedule and join visits.

The ICSolutions site includes IDOC-specific guidance: how to create your visitor account, which app to download, and what setup to complete so you're not scrambling when it's time to join.

1. Pick the device you will use - ICSolutions video visits can be done from a Windows computer, an Android device, or an iOS device.
2. Create your ICSolutions account - use the IDOC instructions provided through the ICSolutions resources so your profile is set up correctly.
3. Download and install the app - install the ICSolutions video visitation application for your device (Windows, Android, or iOS).
4. Log in and confirm you can access the video visitation features - do this well before visit day so you are not troubleshooting during your scheduled time.
5. Test the application on your device - you are required to download and test the visitation application before you will be able to join a visitation.
6. Keep the ICSolutions help resources handy - the ICSolutions site provides the IDOC links and setup guidance you may need if you get stuck during account creation or app setup.

Scheduling Danville video visits happens through the ICSolutions website. Before you try to book, make sure you're on the incarcerated person's approved visitation list. Only approved visitors can schedule visits. Don't count on calling the facility to set things up for you. Video visit times are handled entirely through ICSolutions, and you'll choose from the dates and times available for the person you're visiting.

Rules Limits

• ✓ An individual in custody may receive only 1 video visit per day.
• ✓ No more than three approved visitors may join a single video visit for someone in general population or protective custody.
• ✓ An individual in custody may receive only 2 video visits per week, and that weekly limit still applies (and counts) even if they are in restrictive housing.

Those limits only apply if you're properly approved first. Confirm you're on the incarcerated person's approved visitation list before scheduling, or your visit will be blocked.

Don't try to schedule a video visit between 2:30 pm and 4:30 pm. That window is blocked for institutional count, so pick a different time.
