How to Send Money to Facility

DLMCJC accepts deposits three ways: by mail, through on-site kiosks, or online using JailATM or CSGpay. Pick whichever works best for you. If timing matters, online and kiosk deposits typically post faster than mail.

If you want to deposit in person, the kiosks are located in the DLMCJC front lobby. They accept cash and credit cards, and there is a nominal fee for kiosk transactions.

Sending money by mail? Use a money order or cashier's check. Write the inmate's name and DLMCJC ID number on it so staff can credit the right account. One critical detail: do not put the inmate name or DLMCJC number in the "Pay to the Order" line. Also include a return address on the envelope, or it may be sent back.

Steps to Follow

  • Decide how you want to deposit: mail, the on-site lobby kiosk, or an online deposit using JailATM or CSGpay.
  1. Go to the front-lobby kiosk at DLMCJC - the deposit kiosks are located in the DLMCJC front lobby.
  2. Bring a payment method the kiosk accepts - you can use cash or a credit card.
  3. Complete the deposit on the kiosk - follow the on-screen prompts. A nominal fee applies to kiosk deposits.
  1. Get the right form of payment - use a money order or cashier’s check.
  2. Fill out the money order correctly - write the inmate’s name and DLMCJC ID number on the money order.
  3. Keep the “Pay to the Order” line clean - do not put the inmate name or DLMCJC number in the “Pay to the Order” space.
  4. Prepare the envelope - include a return address on the envelope.
  5. Mail it to the facility - address it to DLMCJC so it can be processed and applied to the inmate’s trust account.

Online deposits are available through JailATM or CSGpay. Double-check that you're selecting the correct facility and entering the inmate's information exactly as it appears in jail records.

What to Verify

  • Confirm the kiosk is available when you plan to go (kiosk access can depend on lobby access and hours).
  • Confirm what payment types are currently accepted at the kiosk (cash and credit card are accepted, but policies can change).
  • Ask for the current kiosk fee amount before you finalize the transaction.
  • Verify the correct mailing address for trust-account deposits before you send anything.
  • Confirm the facility still requires a money order or cashier’s check for mailed deposits.
  • Recheck how they want the inmate’s name and DLMCJC ID written on the money order (and keep it off the “Pay to the Order” line).
  • Make sure your envelope includes a return address.

Before depositing online, confirm you're using an approved service (JailATM or CSGpay) and review their current rules. Fees, identity verification requirements, and required account details vary by provider and can change.
