Missouri DOC uses JPay for electronic deposits. Search for the person you're sending to, follow the money transfer prompts, and the funds go straight to their account. You'll also see JPay mentioned for tablet services - it's the vendor Missouri DOC uses across the board.

Prefer to mail it? Send a money order or cashier's check made payable to the Missouri Department of Corrections, along with a Department of Corrections deposit slip. Mail to: Offender Finance Office, Missouri Department of Corrections, P.O. Box 1609, Jefferson City, MO 65102.

Mailed deposits typically post within 1–3 business days after the Offender Finance Office receives them. Sometimes it takes a bit longer. If it's only been a few days since delivery, give it time to process before following up.

Note: Don't include personal mail, cards, stamps, or photos with your deposit. That P.O. Box is for money transactions only.

  • Double-check the offender’s identifying details before you hit “send” in JPay or fill out a deposit slip
  • If you’re sending electronically, use JPay for the transfer (that’s the Missouri DOC-referenced option)
  • If you’re mailing a deposit, make sure your money order/cashier’s check and deposit slip information match exactly so the funds post to the right account
