How to provide approved travel or release property for an ICE detainee at Wyatt
You can provide approved property needed for an ICE detainee’s travel or release at Wyatt. The property drop-off route is in Burlington, Massachusetts, not at the detention facility in Central Falls.
For a person in ICE custody at Donald W. Wyatt Detention Facility, you may provide items determined necessary solely for travel or release from agency custody. Those items require approval from the ICE Deportation Officer.
If the detainee is being removed from the United States, they are allowed one small piece of luggage.
If the detainee does not have that luggage, you can send or deliver it only after receiving approval from the Supervisory Deportation Officer.
Electronic devices will not be accepted for security reasons. This includes cell phones, electric razors, laptop computers and radios.
Once you have the applicable approval, the property drop-off location is 1000 District Avenue, Burlington, MA 01803. Drop-off hours are Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. This is a separate location from Wyatt, which is at 950 High Street, Central Falls, RI 02863-1506.
