If you're 18 or older, bring a valid ID to check-in. No exceptions. Have it ready before you get in line.

  • U.S., state, or local government-issued ID card
  • U.S. passport
  • International passport
  • Student ID

Arrive at least 30 minutes before your scheduled visit. Late arrivals get turned away - your visit will be canceled. Build in extra time for check-in and unexpected delays.

Confirm you're on the inmate's approved visitation list before making the trip. If you're not listed, you won't get in - even with the right ID and a long drive behind you.

Bringing a child? Anyone under 18 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian who's at least 18. That adult is responsible for the minor throughout the visit.

Plan for at least 20 minutes - that's the minimum session length. A few other limits to know: inmates can have up to two in-person visits per month, with a maximum of three visitors per session and only one visit per day.

Schedule your visit at least 2 days in advance, but no more than 7 days out. Plans change? You can modify or cancel up to one day before.

Reminder: Save your visitor ID and password and keep them somewhere you can find them later - online scheduling won’t work without them.
