Durham County Detention's Visiting Schedule: Pods, Days, and Monthly Visit Limits

In-person visitation at Durham County Detention is organized by housing pod on specific weekdays. Pods A and B visit on Tuesdays from 4:00 PM to 7:30 PM. Pods C and D visit on Thursdays from 4:00 PM to 7:30 PM. One catch: the facility lists an exception for 3C North and 3C South. If your person is housed there, don't assume the standard C/D Thursday slot applies. Plan for changes, too. Even if you can make every visiting day, Durham County Detention caps how many in-person visits an inmate can receive: two per month. Each visitation period allows up to three visitors, which helps when coordinating family members. If something comes up, handle it early. You can modify or cancel a scheduled visit up to one day in advance. Miss that deadline, and the visit still counts against the inmate's monthly limit.
