How to Receive Calls from ERDCC: Register with Securus and What to Expect

Getting phone calls from someone at ERDCC comes down to two things: understanding how outgoing calls work and setting up your Securus account so your number is ready to receive them.

You can't call ERDCC and get connected to an offender. Incoming calls aren't allowed. Instead, the offender places the call to you, as long as they aren't on restricted status.

Calls from ERDCC go through an automated security calling system. Each offender uses a personal identification number (PIN) to place their call, which lets the system identify who's calling and route the call correctly.

  • Purchase debit minutes in the canteen (the offender uses these minutes to place outgoing calls)
  • Purchase minutes from a kiosk (another way for the offender to fund outgoing calls)

Before you can receive calls, you'll need to set up an account with Securus. Once your account is active, your phone number will be cleared to accept calls placed through their system.

  • Online: set up your account through the Securus website
  • Phone: 1-800-844-6591
  • Email: customerservice@securustech.net

Not getting calls? Check the two basics. First, the offender needs to place the call using the PIN-based automated system. Second, your Securus account has to be set up correctly on your end. If something still isn't working, go back through Securus's setup instructions and double-check your account details. That usually fixes it.

Tip: If you're still having trouble receiving calls or managing your account, reach out to Securus directly. They can review your setup and walk you through next steps.
