How to Schedule a Video Visit and What to Expect at Escambia County Jail’s Public Bond Lobby

Remote video visitation happens at the Public Bond Lobby at 3080 N. Pace Blvd, Pensacola, Florida. This is where most regular visits take place - video rather than in-person. Only special and official visits allow physical entry into the secure part of the facility, so plan on checking in and completing your visit through the Public Bond Lobby.

Before you can visit, you need to register in the visitation software. Escambia County offers two options: register at the video visitation location, or register online through myescambia.com. Scheduling works the same way - you can book visits through the Escambia County Corrections website or at the kiosk in the Public Bond Lobby.

During registration, staff will record your name, address, relationship to the inmate, and the date and time you check in and out. Bring a legible, valid photo ID - they'll compare the photo to you before allowing entry.

Two timing rules trip people up. Visits can be scheduled up to seven days in advance, but must be booked at least 24 hours before your desired time. You can schedule through the Escambia County Corrections website or use the kiosk in the Public Bond Lobby - just make sure you're inside that 7-day window and not trying to book last-minute.

Need to cancel? Watch the clock. Any visit cancelled less than 24 hours before the scheduled time counts as a used visit. Double-check your schedule before locking in a time.

Checkin and Search

  • Driver’s license
  • State ID card
  • Military ID
  • U.S. Immigration identification
  • Passport

When you arrive, staff will confirm you're registered and scheduled. Get your registration done ahead of time - either at the video visitation location or through myescambia.com - and schedule through the Escambia County Corrections website or the Public Bond Lobby kiosk. Having everything squared away keeps check-in smooth.

Note: All visitors and their belongings are subject to search in accordance with Section 951.22, Florida Statutes.

Know your group size before scheduling. Each video visit allows a maximum of two visitors per inmate.

Bringing a baby? Children under one year old don't count toward the visitor limit.
