Farmington Correctional Center Visiting Hours: Food Visit & Treatment-Offender Schedule

Farmington Correctional Center is open for visits Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, with two visiting windows each day: 9:30am–1:30pm and 2:30pm–6:30pm. If you’re traveling from out of town, build your plan around those session times so you’re not arriving mid-window and losing time with your loved one.

Not every afternoon session works the same way. The 1st and 3rd afternoon sessions are designated food visits - so if your loved one has an authorized incentive food visit and you want to bring food within the rules, plan around those afternoons.

The 2nd and 4th afternoon sessions are reserved for treatment offenders only. If the person you're visiting is in treatment, those are your afternoons. If they're not, skip those sessions - showing up on the wrong day means you won't get in.

Each visit allows up to 3 visitors per offender, plus up to 3 additional children age 5 and under. If you're coordinating with other family members, count heads ahead of time so you're not deciding who goes in at the last minute.

Note: Treatment-offender afternoons are specifically for people in treatment. The standard visitor limit still applies - 3 visitors per offender, plus up to 3 children age 5 and under.

Food Visit Planning

Food for incentive visits must meet security regulations. Double-check the current requirements before you cook, buy supplies, or hit the road - especially if you're driving a long way. You don't want items turned away at the entrance.

Tip: Before you leave, confirm you've got the right session (9:30am–1:30pm or 2:30pm–6:30pm) and the correct afternoon type. Remember: 1st and 3rd afternoons are for food visits, 2nd and 4th are treatment offenders only.
