Visiting Someone at Forrest County Evaluation Center: Hours, ID, 20-Minute Limit, and What Patients May Have
Visiting someone at the Forrest County Evaluation Center (FCEC) is straightforward once you know the schedule and rules. Here's your quick checklist before you go.
Visitation at FCEC happens Monday, Wednesday, and Friday from 10:00 am to 4:00 pm. Show up outside those windows and you'll be turned away.
Call ahead: You must schedule your visit by 9:00 am on the day you want to come. Any special visitation requests need approval from FCEC administration.
Bring a valid government-issued photo ID every time. Staff check it at each visit, even if you've been before.
Security screening: All visitors go through a contraband search before entering.
Prohibited Items
- ✓ Cameras
- ✓ Cell phones
- ✓ Purses
- ✓ Keys
- ✓ Backpacks
- ✓ Wallets
Leave prohibited items in your car or at home - you'll be searched at entry. Walk in with just your valid government ID and nothing else you don't need.
Visits are limited to 20 minutes. Arrive ready to make the most of that time.
Heads-up: A patient may refuse to see a visitor at any time. If you’re making a long drive, calling to confirm your scheduled visit can help you avoid a wasted trip.
