How to Schedule a Visit at Fremont Correctional Facility (in-person & video)

Fremont Correctional Facility holds visits Thursday through Sunday, 9:00 AM to 3:45 PM. Plan around that window, then request an appointment through the visiting office.

Email the visiting office at DOC_fcf_visiting@state.co.us to request an in-person appointment. That's your starting point for getting on the calendar.

1. Write your appointment request email - Send it to DOC_fcf_visiting@state.co.us.
2. Include clear identifying details - Add the incarcerated person’s information and your information so staff can match your request correctly.
3. Suggest the day and time you’re trying for - Fremont’s regular visiting window is Thursday–Sunday, 9:00 AM–3:45 PM, so give a specific day and a time range within that.
4. Add a call-back number - Include a phone number where you can be reached in case the visiting office needs to confirm or adjust the appointment.
5. Follow up if you don’t hear back - If you need to check on a request, you can call the Fremont switchboard at 719-269-5002.

Need a special visit outside regular days or hours? Start early. Submit your request at least ten calendar days ahead if possible - special visits require approval before they're confirmed.

Can't make the trip? Fremont offers video visitation as an alternative. You'll set up your account through Securus Technologies.

Video visits still require approval first. Submit a visiting application and a copy of your government-issued photo ID through the facility visiting office. Once you're on the inmate's approved visiting list, you can create your Securus account and start scheduling video visits online.
