Visiting Hours and Arrival Rules for Fulton Reception and Diagnostic Center (FRDC)

Before you make the drive, confirm two things: that your loved one is actually housed at Fulton Reception and Diagnostic Center (FRDC), and that you're approved to visit. FRDC requires visitors to be pre-approved through a visiting application, which includes a criminal history check. The posted visiting hours won't help if your approval isn't in place yet.

FRDC visiting hours are Friday, Saturday, and Sunday from 9:30am to 1:30pm.

An afternoon/evening session runs Friday, Saturday, and Sunday from 2:30pm to 6:30pm.

Arrival Parking Entry Rules

  • Arrive in the FRDC parking lot no earlier than 30 minutes before visiting starts.

Entry is first-come, first-served once visitors are allowed in from the parking lot. If you're aiming for a specific session, time your arrival accordingly - being ready when entry starts helps you avoid unnecessary waits.

Warning: No person or pet may remain in a vehicle on institutional grounds at FRDC.

Even with the posted hours in hand, don't skip a final check before you travel. Your ability to visit still depends on being pre-approved through the visiting application process (including the criminal history check). Confirm your status and any current restrictions before heading out.
