Bringing Your Baby or Toddler to Visit Gadsden: Parent Checklist

You can bring up to five (5) diapers for authorized infants and small children. Pack only what you'll actually need - anything over the limit could hold you up at check-in.

Bring up to three (3) baby bottles, and they must be clear. If your usual bottles are tinted or have covers, swap them for clear ones so staff can see the contents.

Toddlers can have up to two (2) sipper cups. Leave any extras in the car.

You can bring up to three (3) clear plastic jars of baby food - sealed and unopened. Bring only what your child will eat during the visit, since opened containers won't be allowed.

Baby wipes are allowed, but they need to be in a clear bag. Before you leave home, transfer wipes from any opaque pouch into a clear bag so they're ready for inspection.

Baby food must be sealed (unopened) and in clear plastic jars. Broken seals or non-clear containers? You won't be able to bring them in.

Infant carriers will be searched before you enter. Give yourself extra time and pack the carrier so staff can check it quickly.

Practical Prep

• ✓ If you’re supervising a minor and you are an authorized adult (not the parent), bring one (1) copy of a notarized authorization to supervise the minor (as defined in Rule 33-601.713, F.A.C.).

1. Pack to the exact limits - no more than five (5) diapers, three (3) clear baby bottles, two (2) toddler sipper cups, and three (3) clear plastic jars of sealed (unopened) baby food.
2. Keep wipes in a clear bag - baby wipes/towelettes are only allowed when they’re carried in a clear bag.
3. Leave baby food sealed - bring only clear plastic jars that are sealed (unopened).
4. Plan for the carrier search - infant/baby carriers are searched before entry.
5. Be ready to take your baby out - you must remove the infant from the carrier during the search.
