How to Set Up a GettingOut Video Visit Account for Gila County Jail

Gila County Jail doesn't offer in-person visitation - all visits happen through GettingOut's electronic platform. The county operates facilities in Globe and at a Payson substation. Eligible inmates get one free hour of video visits per week. Want more time? You can purchase additional visits through the GettingOut app.

1. Open the GettingOut website in a browser - use any computer (laptop or desktop) with internet access.
2. Select “Create Account” - start a new visitor account.
3. Fill out the required profile information - enter the details the system asks for to set up your profile.
4. Verify your account - provide a phone number and an email address, then complete the verification steps so your account is approved for visits.

2. Install and open the app - once it’s on your device, launch it.
3. Create your account in the app - follow the prompts and complete the required fields.
4. Verify your account - you’ll need to provide a phone number and email address and complete verification before visits will work.

GettingOut needs to confirm your identity during setup. You'll enter your birthday, the last four digits of your Social Security Number, plus a phone number and email address. Complete the verification process before trying to schedule - unverified accounts can't access video visits.

Once verified, head to the GettingOut website or app and use "Find Contacts" to search for your loved one. Select the correct Gila County Jail location. Don't see them listed? Double-check that your account verification went through. Also remember: visits aren't available until after their initial appearance before a Judge or Magistrate.
