Gila County Jail Visitation Hours and Scheduling Exceptions
Knowing the exact schedule—and the few exceptions that trip people up—makes planning your visit much easier. Here's everything you need: Gila County Jail's standard visitation blocks, the Monday closure, the holiday-related Tuesday exception, and contact numbers for questions.
Visitation runs Tuesday through Sunday in three daily blocks: 9:30 a.m.–11:30 a.m., 1:00 p.m.–4:30 p.m., and 6:30 p.m.–8:30 p.m. Pick one of these windows when scheduling - visits happen within the blocks, not throughout the day.
Planning tip: Eligible inmates are offered 1 hour of free visits per week. Any additional visits are charged through the GettingOut app.
The jail is closed to visits on Mondays. If that's your only free day, you'll need to find another time during the week.
Holiday exception: If Monday is a holiday, there are no visits on the following Tuesday.
All visits are conducted electronically through the GettingOut platform. Gila County Jail does not offer in-person visitation.
You can connect from home, or use the public stations at the Globe facility if you'd rather complete your GettingOut visit on-site.
Before scheduling, confirm your loved one is eligible. Inmates at Gila County Jail can only receive visits after their initial appearance before a Judge or Magistrate.
