Green River Correctional Complex holds in-person visits on Saturdays only, from 8:30 am to 2:00 pm. Plan your drive around that window.
Arrival cutoff: You must arrive before 11:30 am to be allowed entry on Saturday visitation days.
When the visiting area isn't crowded, you may be able to stay for the full 8:30 am–2:00 pm window. How long you actually get depends on how busy it is that day.
Each inmate gets one visit per Saturday. If multiple people want to see the same person, coordinate ahead of time - otherwise someone might drive all the way there only to find out the visit slot was already used.
When the visiting area fills up and people are waiting, the Shift Supervisor may shorten visits on a first-in, first-out basis. Visitors who've been there longest get cut first so others in line can have their turn.
Plan for flexibility: Even though a regular visit may last the full scheduled hours, it can be shortened if the room fills up and there’s a queue.
