Highland County Jail Commissary: How to Order, Deadlines, Books, and Who to Call
Ordering commissary or sending books to someone at Highland County Jail? Once you know the provider, deadlines, and what's allowed, the process is simple. Here's how it works.
Highland County Jail uses Access for commissary. To order items for someone inside, go through the jail's online commissary link (via Access/Access Securepak).
Prefer to order in person? There's a kiosk beside the jail door where you can place commissary orders. Handy if you're already at the facility or just don't want to deal with the website.
Timing matters. Orders must be received by 9:00 a.m. on Mondays and Wednesdays. Hit that deadline, and delivery happens on Tuesdays and Thursdays. Miss it, and you'll wait until the next delivery day.
Books Rules
- ✓ Send paperback books only (this includes Bibles and other reading books).
- ✓ Order books new from Amazon or an online publisher.
- ✓ Make sure the seller ships the book directly to the offender at the jail.
- ✓ Don’t send hardback/hard cover books - they will be rejected.
- Create an Access Securepak account - start your order through Access Securepak.
- Choose the agency program and view the product menu - this is where you’ll see what’s available to order.
- Shop and place your order - add items from the menu and complete checkout to send the package.
Once you've placed an Access Securepak order, track it using your confirmation number or the inmate number. Hang onto that confirmation - it makes checking status much easier.
