Visiting day goes smoother when you walk in with the right ID and leave prohibited items in your car or a locker. Here's what you need to get through check-in without delays or getting turned away.
Adult visitors need two forms of ID. One must be a current, state-issued photo ID. Show up with only one - or with an expired photo ID - and your visit can be delayed or denied at the door.
You'll also need to provide vehicle information when you check in. Have your license plate number and vehicle details ready so you're not scrambling at the last minute.
