When Hill Calls: Recognizing the Caller ID and the IDOC Phone Vendor Transition

Calls from Hill Correctional Center should show up as (309) 741-2154 on your caller ID. If you screen unknown numbers or use spam blocking, save this number so you don't accidentally miss a call.

IDOC began transitioning phone services from Securus to ICSolutions starting February 3, 2025. The rollout is happening facility by facility, so timing varies depending on where your loved one is housed.

The full transition across the system should take about two weeks. Your loved one will receive details about their facility's specific switchover date. That's when you'll likely notice changes in calling access.

• ✓ Keep enough funds on your Securus Advance Connect account for one to two weeks of calls leading up to the switch.

Once your facility switches over, you'll use ICSolutions for all calls going forward. Check the ICSolutions page for Illinois Department of Corrections facilities for setup details and instructions.

Money in your Securus Advance Connect account doesn't automatically transfer to ICSolutions. You'll likely need to request a refund rather than waiting for the balance to move over on its own.

1. Wait until the transition is complete - refunds for Securus Advance Connect balances are handled after the switch.
2. Contact Securus for the refund - call 1-800-844-6591 and ask about your Advance Connect account balance refund.

This refund issue only affects your account. On your loved one's side, their phone credits and phone list (PAN) should transfer to ICSolutions during the switch.

Under ICSolutions, domestic calls drop to $0.008 per minute (down from $0.009 per minute). Once your facility fully switches over, you should see a small decrease in cost.
