- Visitors must create their own TDCJ visitor account; TDCJ staff cannot create visitor accounts.
- After registering, the system sends a 7‑digit validation code to the email address and that email address cannot be deleted or changed.
- Visiting hours normally occur Saturday and Sunday from 8:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., and visiting cycles run Monday through the following Sunday.
Communication
- To receive phone calls, register your telephone number at texasprisonphone.com and you may need the inmate's TDCJ ID.
- JPay e-messages require purchasing electronic stamps via jpay.com before messages are reviewed and delivered.
- JPay's messaging service will transition to Securus as tablet deployments continue at the unit.

- TDCJ moved to a digital mail platform effective September 6, 2023; incoming mail is scanned and uploaded to inmate tablets.
