Hilltop Unit communication options run through the state's Inmate Technology program and third-party vendors, covering phone calls, video visits, e-messaging, and tablet services. The facility's visitation scheduler lists four visit types, including Regular, Contact, and Video/Tablet. Note that Video/Tablet in the scheduler is separate from the Securus remote video program. Securus remote video visits run 60 minutes, cost $10.00, and inmates are limited to one per month. Forgot your scheduler password? Use the Forgot Password or Reset Password option, and the system will email reset instructions after you enter your email. For problems with vendor services, contact the Inmate Technology Services Contract Manager at offenderphones@tdcj.texas.gov or file by mail.

Mail to Hilltop Unit doesn't work the way it used to. TDCJ switched to a digital mail platform, so most personal letters now go to a processing center where they're scanned and delivered through the inmate's secure tablet. No tablet? They'll get printed copies instead.
