The Warrant Division uses a digital Livescan machine for all fingerprinting. They do not offer ink (manual) fingerprinting. If you need a fingerprint card, the office provides them on an FD-258 form only, and only when required.

Reminder: If you need a fingerprint card from this office, it will be on an FD-258 form.

Walk-ins are not accepted at the Warrant Division for fingerprinting. You'll need to schedule an appointment before you go.

Fingerprinting costs $20.00, cash only. Bring the exact amount so you don't end up rescheduling over a payment issue.

  1. Call to set your appointment (and ask questions) at 478-542-2095. This fingerprinting service is appointment-only.
  2. Confirm what you need for your fingerprints when you call, since they use digital Livescan and do not do ink (manual) prints.

Appointments are available Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

Pitfalls

  • If you bring your own fingerprint card(s), do not fill them out. Staff will complete them.

Heads up: The Warrant Division does not transmit fingerprints for background checks. Don't expect them to run or send a background report from your prints.
