Bring a valid, government-issued photo ID. A current driver's license works, and so does a Department of Revenue ID card - just make sure it's government-issued with your photo on it.

Teens ages 13–18 need ID too. A current school photo ID with their name works, or a valid federal or state government-issued ID.

Anyone under 18 must come with an authorized adult visitor. The only exception: if the minor is married to the offender. Otherwise, they won't be allowed in alone.

Note: You’ll need the offender’s Department of Corrections Identification Number (DOC ID) to submit the online visiting application, so get that number before you try to apply.

Infant Supplies

  • One clear carry-all
  • Up to 6 diapers
  • 1 blanket
  • Up to 3 clear plastic bottles of prepared infant beverage
  • 1 clear plastic no-spill toddler cup
  • Up to 3 unopened vendor containers of baby food
  • 1 plastic pacifier, teether and/or rattle
  • 1 small plastic spoon
  • 1 unopened package of baby wipes

JCCC can turn you away for dress code violations, even if everything else checks out. Avoid anything tight or excessively baggy. Nothing transparent, revealing, or see-through. Clothing with gang symbols, racial messaging, or inflammatory language is prohibited - and so is camouflage. Skirts, dresses, and shorts must reach at least the top of your kneecap when standing.

Watch the “borderline” items: Wrap-around or slit skirts or dresses are prohibited, as are pants with holes or slits. Tops must cover the chest, back, stomach, and shoulders.

Physical contact is limited. You can share one greeting embrace, one departing embrace, and a brief kiss. Holding hands during the visit is fine, but anything beyond that can end your visit early.

Bringing kids? Children age 6 and under may sit on the offender's lap - unless the offender is a sex offender. In that case, keep little ones beside you instead.

Don't make the trip until you're approved. After submitting your online visiting application, wait for final approval before attempting a visit.

Once inside, follow the visiting room rules exactly as posted. The facility displays them in the visiting room and provides copies on request - ask before doing something that could cut your visit short.
