Arranging a clergy visit at Jennifer Road Detention Center

Approved clergy may visit daily at Jennifer Road Detention Center. If your clergy member is not on the approved list, they must request approval through the ACFA-Security, ACFA-Inmate Services or CFA and have the visit scheduled in advance.

Under the Department's professional visiting rules, clergy who are also members of the incarcerated person's family do not receive professional visiting privileges. For separate visiting guidance, use the facility's Visitation Information page.

Approved clergy visits and other professional visits are permitted every day beginning at 8:30 a.m. and must end by 10:00 p.m. Face-to-face professional visits require separate, express authorization in advance from the ACFA-Security, ACFA-Inmate Services or CFA.

All professional visitors, including approved clergy, must present both kinds of identification below. If you are coordinating the visit, make sure the clergy member knows what to bring.

  • ✓ Valid photo identification: a driver's license, state-issued ID or passport.
  • ✓ Identification verifying their profession, such as certification of ordination.
