If you see “Not Approved for Visits,” it’s different from a blank button. That message means the visitor/inmate relationship is confirmed, but the inmate’s visitation privileges have been removed - so the scheduler replaces the “Schedule Visit” button with “Not Approved for Visits.”

1. Call Jordan Unit to schedule - If the scheduler’s “Schedule Visit” button is blank or replaced with “Call Unit,” you’ll need to schedule the visit by calling the unit.
2. Call again before you travel - Visitation information updates once daily on weekdays and multiple times per day on visitation days, so get final confirmation from the unit before you head out.
3. Use the call as a status check - The same call can clarify whether you’re able to visit and whether the unit is directing scheduling away from the online system for that inmate.

If you've been removed from an inmate's Visitors List, you can appeal in writing to the Director's Review Committee (DRC). Mail your appeal to: Director's Review Committee (DRC), PO Box 99, Huntsville, TX 77342. You must submit it within 14 days of the date on your written removal notice from the unit.
