Visitation at Jordan Unit

How to visit, scheduling, dress code, and visitor requirements

Overview

Jordan Unit uses the TDCJ Online Visitation Scheduler. You'll need to register through the official login and complete a mandatory background questionnaire during setup. Choose your account email carefully—once created, that email can't be deleted or changed. Staff can only help with updates after an account exists. The scheduler shows available visit types: Regular, Contact, and Video/Tablet. Extended or Special visit requests may also appear when offered. What you can book depends on the inmate's privileges and the unit's layout. Contact visits allow limited physical contact—one embrace/kiss at the start and one at the end, with specific hand-holding rules. Plan to follow photo ID, clothing, and contraband rules inside the secure visiting area. If the Schedule Visit button is blank or says "Call Unit," call Jordan Unit before you travel.
