Who to Contact When You Have Questions About KSP Visits
To schedule a visit at Kentucky State Penitentiary (KSP), use the facility’s visit scheduling email: KSP.Visits@ky.gov.
Here's something that catches people off guard: at KSP, the visit request must come from the inmate visitor (the person incarcerated) - not from you. If you email the scheduling address yourself, it won't count as a valid request.
- ✓ Schedule the visit at least seven (7) days in advance.
- ✓ For an in-person visit request, include the visitor’s name, date of birth, and Social Security number.
- ✓ Include the date you want to visit and whether you’re requesting an in-person or virtual visit.
Having trouble with attorney mail or the Kentucky Legal Mail Portal? Email doc.legalmailportal@ky.gov for help.
- Open the Legal Mail Portal page - use this URL: https://lmp.vendengine.com/visitor_login.php?jail_id=2516.
- Click “Create Account” - that’s the first step to start registration.
