ASPC La Palma

ASPC La Palma has lockers in the main lobby for small prohibited items—purses, hats, sunglasses, coins, and similar personal effects. Stash those before heading into the visiting area. Cell phones, pagers, and other electronics aren't allowed inside. Neither are weapons, alcohol, or illegal drugs. Sunglasses are banned for everyone, attorneys included. If you're 18 or older, bring a current photo ID—you'll need to show it at entry. Your clothing and footwear must follow the facility's modesty and safety rules: length limits apply, spandex leggings are out, and there are restrictions on heels and sandals. One more thing: if the person you're visiting is on quarantine status, they won't be cleared for visits until they're released from quarantine.

Phone calls, video visits, tablet messaging, and other communication at ASPC La Palma are handled through vendor-managed services. What's available can vary, so check the facility page before setting anything up. Need a special visit? Starting 1/1/2026, you'll need to email CAFCCVisitation@corecivic.com at least one week before your requested date and time. To add funds or support an incarcerated person's account, use ConnectNetwork or ViaPath. The usual steps apply: create an account, complete verification, add deposits or credits, and schedule video visits when applicable. Keep in mind that routine calls and messages may be recorded or reviewed.

ASPC La Palma has an official mailing address for letters and correspondence—use it exactly as provided to avoid delays. Every piece of incoming mail needs the incarcerated person's full name and identification number, the facility name and address, and your full return name and address. The facility follows USPS rules and prohibits certain items, including maps and Polaroid photographs. Legal mail gets handled differently: mark it "Confidential/Legal Mail" and include the sender's name and title. If staff open it by mistake, they must reseal it, sign and date it, and log the incident. Incarcerated people can opt out of inspection of general correspondence by submitting form 16-1D to the Facility Mailroom.

ASPC La Palma doesn't accept money at visitation or through the mail. You'll need to use the facility's money-transfer instructions on the payment page instead. ConnectNetwork and ViaPath are approved options—both offer toll-free support and phone deposit numbers. Money orders have restrictions: only listed immediate family members who've submitted an application and been approved for visitation can send them. Any exception requires the warden's approval. For Arizona facilities, third-party deposits are typically handled online, by phone, or at on-site kiosks. Follow the vendor's prompts carefully to enter the inmate identifier and payment details correctly.
