Before Your First Visit to ASPC La Palma (Central Arizona Florence): A Practical Checklist

Plan to sign in when you arrive, and expect staff to check identification during the check-in process. If you’re 18 or older, you’ll need a current photo ID to enter.

Acceptable ID

  • Bring a current photo ID if you’re 18 or older (required at check-in)
  • Driver’s license (current)
  • Passport (current)
  • Military ID card (current)
  • Other government-issued photo identification (current)

Visiting a USMS inmate at Central Arizona Florence? The facility allows up to three visitors at one time during Visitation periods 1–4. That's your total group size, so plan your ride and your lineup accordingly.

For ICE detainees, the limit is different: up to two adults and two children at one time. Children under 18 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian - make sure the adult bringing them is the right person.

Keep hems modest. Dresses, skirts, jumpers, culottes, skorts, and pants can't be worn more than 2 inches above the knee. When in doubt, choose something that clearly hits at the knee or below - you don't want to be stuck changing plans in the lobby.

Leave the spandex at home. Spandex skirts, spandex pants, and leggings aren't allowed in the visiting area - even if they're layered or styled conservatively.

Note: Only attorneys may wear sports/suit jackets and carry a wallet inside the visiting area.

Banned Items

  • Weapons/firearms
  • Explosive devices
  • Ammunition
  • Alcoholic beverages
  • Narcotics or illegal drugs
  • Cell phones
  • Pagers
  • Electronic games or other electronic devices

If your loved one is under "QUARANTINE" status, they can't receive visits until cleared. Confirm they're eligible before you travel so you don't make the trip for nothing.

  1. Email your special-visit request at least one week ahead - Send the proposed date/time and supporting documentation to CAFCCVisitation@corecivic.com.
  2. Bring the same ID you used in the request - If your special visit is approved, you’ll be required to present the corresponding ID to the Lobby Office when you arrive.

If you need to contact the facility about visitation, use: 1100 Bowling Road, P.O. Box 2667, Florence, AZ 85132. Phone: 520.868.9095. Fax: 520.868-9565.
