Setting Up Video Visits with ICSolutions for Lawrence Correctional Center
Video visits can feel complicated the first time, but the process is actually pretty simple once you know where to go. Here's how to set up your ICSolutions account and app so your visit goes smoothly.
Lawrence Correctional Center handles video visits through the ICSolutions website - not through the facility itself. Don't call the prison to book a video visit. All scheduling, changes, and time slots are managed through ICSolutions.
Note: Only the visitors who are scheduled for that visit are allowed to appear on the video visit monitor.
- Create your ICSolutions account - You’ll need an ICSolutions account before you can schedule a video visit.
- Install the ICS Mobile app - Download and install the ICSolutions/ICS Mobile app on the device you plan to use for the visit, following the vendor’s instructions.
Tip: ICS Mobile is available for Android, Apple devices, and Windows - make sure you install the version that matches what you’ll use for the call.
Keep the visit limits in mind when picking a time. An individual in custody can only receive one video visit per day - if someone else schedules first, there won't be another slot available that day. There's also a weekly cap: two video visits per week, maximum. This limit applies even for people in restrictive housing. Those visits still count toward the weekly total.
- ✓ For individuals in custody in general population or protective custody, no more than three approved visitors may be on a single video visit.
- ✓ Generally, only one visitor may be on screen at a time (children who need assistance sitting for the visit are excluded).
Count-time blackout: Video visits aren't scheduled between 2:30 pm and 4:30 pm due to institutional count procedures. Plan your request outside that window.
