What You Can't Bring Into the Visiting Room at Lawrence Correctional Center (and Where to Put It)

Planning to mail photos or other items to someone at Lawrence? Keep the mail rules in mind. Prohibited photos include anything showing weapons, nudity, sexually explicit content, the facility itself, or other incarcerated individuals. Mail without a return address won't be accepted either.
Medications are treated strictly. Only physician-prescribed heart medication or an asthma inhaler can go into the Visiting Room - no other pills or medications are allowed.

Tip: Anything that won't fit in a small locker should stay in your vehicle. Just remember - vehicles and property on state grounds are subject to search.
