Visiting Someone in Reception at Lebanon CI: What’s Different (waiting period, courtesy visits, limits)
Visiting someone in reception (C.R.C.) at Lebanon works differently than regular visits. The main differences: a mandatory waiting period before you can visit, monthly limits on how often you can come, and paperwork you'll need to get approved first.
If your loved one just arrived at Lebanon's reception center (C.R.C.), you can't visit right away. Reception inmates aren't allowed visitors during their first 8 days at the facility.
Note: This 8-day waiting period is specific to reception at C.R.C. Plan around it.
After that waiting period, visits are still limited. Each approved person on the visiting list can come twice per calendar month. The limit applies to you individually - not as a shared total for the whole family.
There's also a cap on group size. No more than 5 visitors can come at one time, and that count includes children of all ages.
Lebanon's reception rules allow limited "courtesy" visits. Your loved one gets 1 courtesy visit for immediate family and 1 for a support person. Since these slots are limited, decide ahead of time which family member will come and who the support person will be.
Heads up: If the support person also puts money on your loved one's account, they must be fully approved before visiting.
