Before Your First Visit to Licking County Justice Center: Who Can Come and How Many
Knowing the headcount rules and registration requirements upfront makes your first visit much smoother. Here's how visitation works at the Licking County Justice Center so you can plan it right.
Each visit at the Licking County Justice Center allows up to two adults and two children. Everyone counts toward the total - including infants. Yes, a baby takes up one of the allowed spots, so plan your group accordingly.
Visitation is done by video, and you'll need to register with ICSolutions beforehand (it's free). Only the primary visitor needs an account - not everyone in your group. One thing to note: minors 16 and older can register and visit on their own. If you're sending a teen alone, make sure they understand the same rules apply to them as any adult visitor.
Visits last 30 minutes. Think ahead about what you want to cover - the time goes fast. All visitations are subject to audio and video monitoring and/or recording, so keep conversations appropriate. Stay calm and follow staff instructions; disruptions can end your visit early.

- ✓ Schedule your visit at least 12 hours in advance (you can schedule up to two weeks out)
- ✓ Stay in approved areas only: the lobby and the visitation area
- ✓ Don’t cut it close: you and the inmate can be up to 25 minutes late before the visit is marked missed (and arriving that late can leave only a few minutes of visit time)
- ✓ Log in a little early if you can: visitors and inmates may log into the kiosks up to 10 minutes early, but it won’t start the visit early
