How to Contact an Inmate at Licking County Justice Center

The Licking County Justice Center uses video visitation, and you'll need to register before you can participate. Registration is free. You register through ICSolutions. One helpful detail: only the primary visitor needs to register for visitation. If you're coordinating a group visit, that simplifies things.

Phone calls go through ICSolutions, the facility's inmate phone system vendor since November 1, 2018. To receive calls from an inmate, friends and family can purchase prepaid phone services through the system.

Expect your visit to be recorded. All visitations are subject to audio and/or video monitoring and recording. Visits last 30 minutes. There is a lateness window: visitors and inmates can be up to 25 minutes late before a visit is marked as missed. Group size is limited. Two adults and two children can visit at one time, and all ages count toward the total (including infants and toddlers).

How to Contact an Inmate at Licking County Justice Center
  1. Go to the ICSolutions visitation site: This is where Licking County Justice Center video visitation registration is handled.
  2. Create an account or sign in: Registration is required to participate in video visitation, and there is no cost to register.
  3. Make sure the primary visitor is registered: The facility states that only the primary visitor has to register for visitation.
  • Expect a 30-minute visit session.
  • Don’t cut it close. Visitors and inmates can be up to 25 minutes late before the visit is marked as missed.
  • Keep your group within the limit: two adults and two children total, and all ages count toward the total.
  • Assume the visit may be monitored and/or recorded (audio and/or video).

To receive calls, you'll need to set up prepaid phone service through ICSolutions. That's the inmate phone system the Licking County Justice Center uses, and it's how friends and family purchase the prepaid service needed to accept inmate calls.

Policies on paper don't always match how they're enforced, especially when multiple people want to join a visit. Before you try to schedule, confirm whether each visitor beyond the primary one needs their own registration. Also double-check the current ICSolutions web address and the exact registration steps, since these can change without much notice.

ICSolutions has been the listed phone vendor at the Justice Center since November 1, 2018, but vendors and pricing can change. Before you set anything up, verify the current phone provider, available payment options, and any fees directly through the vendor or the facility.

  • Whether visits are monitored/recorded (audio and/or video) and any related restrictions
  • Whether 30 minutes is still the standard visit length
  • Whether the “up to 25 minutes late” rule is still in effect and how missed visits are handled
  • Whether the “two adults and two children” limit still applies, and whether any exceptions exist
