Video visits at the Licking County Justice Center are scheduled through ICSolutions. Once you know who needs to register and the booking window, the process is pretty straightforward.

To use video visitation at the Licking County Justice Center, you'll need to register through www.icsolutions.com. Registration is free. Not everyone in your group needs their own account, either. Only the primary visitor has to register, which keeps things simple if you're scheduling for a family member or helping someone else join the call.

Minors (16+): Minors who are 16 years old and over may register and visit by themselves.

  1. Go to the ICSolutions website. From any internet-enabled computer or device, type www.icsolutions.com into your browser.
  2. Log in or create an account. If you already have an ICSolutions account (for example, for prepaid phone calls), you can use that login.
  3. Choose “Register for Visitation”. Look for the option to register for visitation inside your account.
  4. Follow the on-screen prompts. Complete the steps on the website to finish registration. There is no cost to register for video visitation.
  • Assume your visit is being monitored and/or recorded. All visitations are subject to audio and video monitoring and/or recording, so avoid sharing sensitive details you would not want saved or reviewed later.

You'll need to schedule at least 12 hours in advance, and you can book up to two weeks out. If you have a specific day and time in mind, plan ahead so you're not bumping up against that 12-hour minimum.

Before you book, decide whether you want an onsite video visit (at the facility) or an offsite video visit (remote). Each inmate is allowed one onsite visit per week, so you may want to save that slot for when it counts most. Offsite visits are more flexible. Unlimited offsite visits can be scheduled per inmate per week.

Group size limit: A maximum of two adults and two children can visit at one time. All ages count toward the total (minimum age for a child is 0).

Onsite video visitation is available Wednesday through Sunday during the facility's listed session times. Offsite video visitation runs every day (Monday through Sunday) during listed session times, plus an evening session that goes until 22:00. If weekdays work better for your schedule, offsite is the way to go since it's available all seven days.

Each visit is 30 minutes. You and the inmate can be up to 25 minutes late before the visit is marked as missed, but arriving late doesn't extend the end time. If you join with only 5 minutes left, that's all you get. One helpful detail: if you're using the kiosks, you can log in up to 10 minutes early to get settled, and that early login doesn't start the visit clock.

Before you log in, make sure your ICSolutions registration is complete. All visitors must register at no cost through www.icsolutions.com. Give yourself a little buffer so you're not rushing. Being late doesn't pause the clock on your 30-minute session. Also, keep in mind that visitations are subject to audio and video monitoring and/or recording, so stick to conversations you're comfortable having on camera.
