Little Sandy Correctional Complex (LSCC) holds in-person visits on Saturdays, Sundays, and approved holidays. Overall visiting hours run from 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., but the exact window you can use depends on the person’s assigned placement.

If your loved one is in General Population, visiting is available both Saturday and Sunday from 8:30 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. This is the earliest start time listed, so it’s the best fit if you’re trying to visit earlier in the day.

If they're in the Minimum Security Unit (MSU), visits are also available Saturday and Sunday, but the window is later: 1:30 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. The MSU start time overlaps with the end of General Population hours, but MSU visits continue until the overall 3:30 p.m. close.

For Administrative SMU, visits are Sunday only, from 1:30 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. If you show up on Saturday for an Administrative SMU visit, you’ll be on the wrong day.

For Disciplinary SMU, visits are Saturday only, from 1:30 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. Plan for an afternoon visit, since this unit does not have a morning window.

Note: General Population visits run 8:30 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. on both weekend days, while MSU visits run 1:30 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. on both weekend days. SMU is split: Administrative SMU is Sunday only (1:30 p.m. to 3:30 p.m.), and Disciplinary SMU is Saturday only (1:30 p.m. to 3:30 p.m.).

Individual visits at LSCC last two hours. Keep that block in mind when picking your window so you don't schedule a time that can't accommodate the full visit.

Each inmate is allowed four visits per month. Visits must be scheduled and approved in advance, so don't wait until the last minute if you're hoping to visit on a specific weekend.

Count Restrictions Arrival

  • Do not try to enter or leave during count time (approximately 11:45 a.m. to 12:45 p.m.).
  • If your visit window crosses midday, plan your arrival and departure so you are not stuck at the door during count.
  • When in doubt, aim to arrive well before count or after it ends.
