Understanding Luther Luckett's Odd/Even Inmate ID Visitation System
LLCC uses an odd/even system to determine which inmates can receive visits on specific dates. Once you know whether the last digit of the inmate's ID is odd or even, you can match it to the visitation calendar — and avoid showing up on the wrong day.
At Luther Luckett Correctional Complex (LLCC), visitation days are determined by the last digit of the inmate's ID number. Odd digit? The inmate visits on odd-ID days. Even digit? Even-ID days. The visiting window on those assigned days runs from 9:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
LLCC's regular visiting days are Wednesday and Friday, 9:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. The odd/even calendar tells you which of those days - and which specific dates - apply to the person you're visiting.
A couple of rules can change your plans. First, each inmate can receive one visit per week. If multiple family members want to come, coordinate ahead of time so you don't accidentally use up the weekly visit. Honor inmates have different rules. LLCC allows Honor inmates to receive visits on both Wednesday and Friday. Starting September 2025, Honor inmates also get one Saturday visit per month: 7-David inmates visit the second Saturday, and 7-Edward inmates visit the third Saturday. The calendar sometimes includes special days that don't follow the usual odd/even split. For example, the LLCC visitation calendar lists Christmas visitation as 9:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. for both odd and even inmate ID numbers.
LLCC publishes its visitation calendar as a facility PDF. Check the calendar for the month you're planning to visit - it shows which dates are assigned to odd-numbered IDs, which to even-numbered IDs, and confirms the 9:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. visiting window.
Common Pitfalls Checklist
- ✓ Confirm you’re on the inmate’s approved visitation list.
- ✓ Verify whether the inmate’s ID ends in an odd digit or an even digit.
- ✓ Match the visit date to the correct odd/even day on the LLCC calendar.
- ✓ Plan your arrival so you can enter no earlier than 8:30 a.m. and no later than 2:30 p.m.
- ✓ Remember the visiting hours on scheduled days run 9:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
Since each inmate can only receive one visit per week, pick your visitor(s) and your day ahead of time. If different people try to visit the same week, someone may make the trip only to find out the weekly visit has already been used.
