Bring a valid photo ID and be ready to sign in when you arrive. No ID or skipped sign-in? You'll be turned away. Double-check your wallet before you leave home.
McCracken County Jail only allows two adults to visit an inmate at a time. If more than two adults show up together, someone will have to sit out - so plan your group before you go.
If you’re bringing a child or teen, make sure they’re with an adult the entire time. Anyone under 18 must be accompanied by an adult to visit.

Don't expect an in-person contact visit. McCracken County Jail conducts all visits through video.
Each visit lasts up to 20 minutes. Inmates can receive 20-minute online visits plus two 20-minute onsite visits per week. Onsite visits at the jail are free. Online visits cost $0.40 per minute.
Check the visitation window before you go. Hours are Monday through Friday from 9:00 AM to 4:30 PM, and Saturday through Sunday from 12:00 PM to 4:00 PM.

- Set up online scheduling (if you’re using online visits) - Create a visiting account through inmatesales.com; after your account is made, you can schedule an online visit 24 hours or more in advance. For help with the account, call 877-998-5678.
- Schedule by phone (if required for your visit) - The jail also states that visits must be scheduled by phone at 866-340-7879. If you see conflicting instructions, use the phone number to confirm the current process before you travel.
