How to send messages, photos, and packages

Overview

Communication at Middlesex Jail & House of Correction works through outgoing phone calls placed by incarcerated people after they've been assigned housing. You can't call into the facility to reach someone, and staff won't pass along personal messages. All calls are recorded and monitored. The facility uses Securus Technologies for phone service. Securus also offers video visitation, available since April 15, 2021 as a supplement to in-person visits. Video visits follow the same security and monitoring policies as regular visitation. To receive calls or book a video visit, set up an account with Securus and complete any required pre-approval to get on the person's approved list. Having trouble receiving calls or need a Block/Unblock? Contact Securus directly.
