How to Visit Milwaukee Secure Denetion Facility (MI)

All video visits at MSDF are scheduled through ICSolutions. The facility itself doesn't handle scheduling, so calling MSDF directly will just get you pointed back to ICSolutions. You can schedule through the ICSolutions website or by calling 1-888-506-8407.

Plan ahead. MSDF video visits must be scheduled no less than 48 hours and no more than 4 weeks before the visit date and time. To register with ICSolutions, you'll need a Party ID. The person in our care (PIOC) is responsible for giving approved visitors that Party ID, so make sure they share it with you before you try to set up your account.

Visits are time-limited. Each PIOC at MSDF is eligible for up to three 26-minute video visits per week, available seven days a week (subject to the schedule and availability). For the actual video call, you can use your own device as long as you have a solid internet or Wi‑Fi connection. There are also five devices available in the MSDF lobby if you'd rather visit in person.

1. Get the Party ID from the PIOC. You will need this Party ID to register your account and schedule the video visit.
2. Set up your visit through ICSolutions. Use the ICSolutions website or call 1-888-506-8407, since MSDF staff do not schedule video visits.
3. Choose a time in the allowed scheduling window. Schedule your visit at least 48 hours in advance, and no more than 4 weeks out.
